It’s Okay To Change

No one should stay the same.  I firmly believe that throughout life it is necessary to change, of course for the better.  Sadly, some people change for the worst and die worst than they are remembered.

Change can be easy at times especially if it is a minor change.  But, some changes are challenging.  It takes great amounts of mental, spiritual, and emotional strength to change some habits, mindsets, and behavior.  Thankfully, our God can strengthen us to change for His glory.  Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

I have learned that it is okay to change, grow, and develop.  Life is full of different stages, obstacles, and circumstances.  In order to survive the valleys of life we must change.  In order to reach the heights of faith according to the promises of God, we must change.  Some enemies will never be defeated unless we change our approach, strategy, and mentality.

Don’t allow yourself, other people, or situations to ensnare your progress.  Don’t get stuck in life because of your mistakes.  Don’t get frustrated or confused by the difficulties of life and the attack of demon spirits.  Just ask God to strengthen you to change for the better in the mist of it all.  Sometimes God doesn’t initially stop the trouble, the pressure, the disappointment, or the pain — because the trouble was assigned to cause personal maturity and positive change.

1 Peter 4:12-13 Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you; 13 but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy.
