A key to remaining discipline is consistency. Personal growth, productivity, and improvement will not manifest if a person is inconsistent.
Sometimes we allow other people, yourself, tough situations, excuses, and a lack of resources to cause our consistency to hinder our progress. But we must remember that consistency is the key. Even in God’s Word we discover that consistency is the primary principle to being rewarded by God.
- Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
- Proverbs 28:20 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
We should strive to be consistent in how we carry ourselves in every aspect of life. Whether it be in our prayer life, how we treat our spouses and family, how we serve, or with our finances we should consistently do as the Word of God prescribes.
Take some time to evaluate your life and note if you are consistent in a manner that produces the best fruit that satisfies and glorifies God.
