Anyone can praise the Lord, even though I believe we all should do so. However, the difference is what is in our heart when we choose to do so. When we choose to praise the Lord it should not be based upon our current situation, how we are feeling, or based upon what we expect God to perform.
We should always bless the Lord from a place of sincerity, gratitude, and commitment. Why? God has demonstrated tremendous mercy towards us. He is patience with us. And above all, He has done more for us than we can do for ourselves. We should praise our God with all our might, because Jesus has been so good to us.
Take time to:
- Praise the Lord for your problems. (Your problems could be worst.)
- Praise the Lord to invoke His presence. (In His presence is fullness of joy.)
- Remember, your praise is a witness of your faith to others.
